Comments for Mackay, Ramsey, The Suburbs Of Ur

One of the best rock albums to come out of South Africa. Apocalyptical and romantic lyrics with the tracks ranging from rap before there was rap (on "eyes of zimbabwe") to the folkish "witchdoctor of hillbrow" to the allmost ecstatic rock on "st. judas" - the latter with Julian Laxton's guitar flaming on the background. This was a rock album to good to be a commercial success. Wish I could get it on CD smewhere...

I have nothing to add, This album is amazing and I too wish I could get it on CD, or even vinyl!!!
