Comments for Can, Radio Waves

Cover insists that this is an original release but I doubt that back in 70s (tracks recorded in 69-72) they could squeeze a 35-minute track into a side of vinyl (neither can they now, though with advent of CDs it is not necessary). The first track is less aggressiveand more tranced-out version than that showing up on "Peel Sessions", "little Star" and "Paperhouse" aredifferent versions from those in albums, Entropy isa live track to my best knowledge unavailable elsewhere, and the last two are B-sides which are avaliable inCD-format on Cannibalism II. The sound quality differsgreatly, otherwise it is a great record.

The version of Little Star of Bethlehem on this disc would be longer, if the track was not so sped up (nearly an octave higher than the original). Everything else on this disc is rather good quality and the version of Shikakru Maru Ten is the full length version from the original single and not the shortened version on Cannibalism II.
