Comments for Toto, Mindfields

Their first album with Bobby Kimball since 1982. It's great to have the original voice of Toto back, but they could have chosen a better comeback than this album. It is certainly a try on someone's patience with the 79-minunte length, and like most of their albums, Toto relies too much on ballads to make up the album. Worse so is that the rockers and other genre departures are not as enthusiastic as the love songs seem to be. And when every song on here is near or over the 5-minute mark, you know that's a problem, too. Maybe with the next one, Toto can pare things down a bit and include a little more variety.
