I must confess that Belinda is one of my favourite artists. Even though Belinda released couple of albums after Runaway horses I think that this is her best album yet. Many regards to Belinda if she ever read this comment and to her fans. denis

I think this was an underappreciated album. I think there were some good pop tunes, though it doesn't live up to its predecessor (Runaway Horses) which has to be one of her best ever. Standout tunes include "Half The World", "Do You Feel Like I Feel?", "Little Black Book", and "World Of Love".

I've really loved all of the Belinda Carlisle CD's. I really had a hard time looking for "Live Your Life Be Free."It is the best CD made by Belinda yet. I really enjoyed this Web Page, since it has allot of Information about Belinda. I really do wish sometime, that she would Make a music Video and/or a new song, to be the Popular artist I adore. It would be something to be known to everyone again.

I have been captivated by Belinda since "Beauty and the Beat". When "Heaven is a Place on Earth" was released, I thought it was pure pop music heaven. However, after listening to all of Belinda's albums many times over the years, i have to regard "Live Your Life Be Free" as her best. It was very underappreciated in the states. I think this album was Belinda at her "funkiest". It sounded real sassy and fun. Belinda with a little attitude. The songs are all perfect pop songs. Catchy. My favorite track is "Do you feel like I feel?" The closest Belinda has ever come to recording a "dance" song. Not far behind is "You're Nothing Without Me". (The attitude I mentioned). "Live Your Life Be Free" has Belinda doing some sexy flirting, while "Little Black Book" gets you thinking about that crush in high school that you never really did get over."I Plead Insanity" is pure pop fun. Then Belinda bares her claws in "Emotional Highway". This album even contains her best balld, "Half The World". It is very sad that in the states MCA Records chose to put this album out of print.(After she left the label in 1992.) It is her best overall.
