"Only yesterday", "Love me for what I am", and "(I'm caught between) Goodbye and I love you" are my favorite tracks. "Solitaire" is very beautifully performed by Karen.

"I Can Dream, Can't I?" is the classic 30's/40's torch song -- when sung by Karen's sultry voice, you get a real feeling of "being there." Bravo!!!

A beautiful recording from start to finish. (I'm Caught Between) Goodbye And I Love You is one of Karen Carpenter's finest performances.

Horizon has always been my favorite Carpenters album. Each year I buy a few copies on CD to give my friends at Christmas. I wish the record company had released many of the other songs as singles because they are such wonderful sounding recordings. If Horizon were given the right airplay and promotion today I'm sure that it would become popular all over again. I hope it happens! Gregory Brown

Aurora and Eventide are my two most favorite Carpenter songs. They capture the mystique in Karen's voice. Absolutely perfect.

"Horizon" is one of the most sophisticated productions ever. The dramatic voice of Karen Carpenter had never been so well recorded.

Horizon is spectacular from beginning to end. Aurora and Eventide are haunting. Desperado is THE definitive version of that song - like This Masquerade, it far surpasses any other versions of this song. Her vocal sends chills up my spine, as it does on Solitaire. Only Yesterday, Happy and Mr Postman are a joy to listen to. Goodbye and I Love You and Love Me for What I Am are classic Carpenters ballads. and finally I Can Dream Can't I - whew! Magnificent! It truly spotlights the enormous range of what both Karen and Richard are capable of! I LOVE this album!!! Norma J Segarra
