Comments for Who, The, Live At Leeds

Simply the standard for which all great live performances would be based upon. THE best live show ever captured on tape.

The best live album ever. FRIGGIN' LOUD!!!!!!! "Live at Leeds" is The Who at their best. Never a great studio band (except for the Who's Next Sessions) the Who really starred on stage once they got over the guitar destroying and drum exploding phase. On this album the Who do a couple of cover songs that were staples of their performances- "Shakin' All Over" and "Summertime Blues". In my opinion the only weak points on the album are Townshend's rock-opera segments "I'm a Boy", "A Quick One While He's Away", and to some extent "Amazing Journey/Sparks". Overall a really, really great album.
