Comments for Bocelli, Andrea, Con Te Partirò

honour2001@netzero.net
I can’t believe I wasted $19 on this trash for TWO SONGS. I got it on the same day I did Sarah Brightman’s excellent “Question of Honour.” Guess which of the two I played more the first day I got them? QOH. Why? Because that one had dance remixes, this one didn’t. And “E Chiove” (And It Rains) can be found on the “Bocelli,” “Romanza” and “Per Amore” albums, as can CTP. Yeah, I just LOVE CTP, but to release it as a single WITHOUT REMIXES is inexcusable. Really inexcusable. Which is why as much as I don’t want to more credit goes to Sarah Brightman. Similarly, the 1996 blockbuster Brightman/Bocelli collaboration “Time To Say Goodbye” is a MUCH BETTER BUY than this remix-less excuse for a “hit” single. Brightman gets more credit too because her duet with Bocelli was what gave him fans in America and elsewhere for the first time. I’m glad I threw this single out, because that front-cover photo shoot is one of the most grotesque pictures of my Bocelli I’ve ever seen (even my sister said so). Sorry, Andrea, but your “Canto Della Terra” and TTSG hit home than do this as a single.

I mean the 4-track Canto Della Terra, not that 2-track s**t.
