Comments for Cheap Trick, SEX, America

I'm trying to locate the song "Up The Creek" from the movie soundtrack of the same title. I realize this probably not available on CD, therefore, any vinyl format would be acceptable. My plan is to clean up the vinyl recording and place on CD with my favorite Cheap Trick songs. Any ideas on where I can locate "Up The Creek?" Thanx, Mike Nichols nichom@sealright.com

Cheap Trick has really outdone themselves with this release. It includes some of the favorite concert tunes as well as some of their more quirky and little known music. The guys were not afraid of putting many of their older (and IMHO better) recordings on the set. With pleanty of new, rare, and alternitive versions, Cheap Trick has set a standard for box sets of the future!

A great package, including the hidden tracks at the end of each disk. A few things I would've wanted: 1) The two songs from the movie "Heavy Metal" that have only appeared on a single and on the "Heavy Metal" soundtrack ("Reach Out" / "I Must Be Dreamin'"); 2) the stuff from "Found All The Parts"; 3) Killer songs from the first LP, such as "Taxman" or "Daddy Should Have Stayed in High School"; 4) the song "Heaven Tonight" But, as Rick has said, they may do another box set someday. We can only hope!!!

Mike, if you do ever get "Up The Creek" on cd, do the other big Cheap Trick fans a favor and share the wealth.

cheap trick is an awesome band. anyone who doesn't like them sucks. their albums are all so great i've been a fan for the longest time and just because they don't put all their great songs on SEX AMERICA doesn't mean they should be damned they blessed us with legendary rock music that will live in our hearts forever i love them!
