Comments for Chemlab, Burn Out At The Hydrogen Bar

This is a great album. My favorite tracks are "Derailer" and "Chemical Halo." These guys toured with Sister Machine Gun not too long ago. They fucking kick ass! I don''t think that they sound like NIN, but I can see why someone would think that.

These guys supported Nine Inch Nails a couple years back,and they sound like "Pretty Hate Machine" songs with"Broken" production. This album was mixed by "Critter" Newell, who also worked on NIN`s "Fixed".No wonder they thank "Trent and NIN"!This is well produced, and the sound is good, but thereisn`t much in the way of dynamics. The stand-out tracks are"Codeine...", "Chemical Halo" and "Neurozone".The "suture" tracks are just noisy links between songs (andare probably the most inventive tracks sonics-wise).
