The best part of this LP is MAYNARD FERGUSON'S trumpet solo on "Street Player." It saves the whole album !! (In return, drummer Danny Seraphine did a guest appearance on Maynard's "Hot" album on the cut "Rocky II.")

Can you believe a rave record was made in 1995, sampling "Street Player" (Bucketheads - The Bomb)?! This is just one example of the group''s influence on the world of music! The rest of the album is slightly disappointing though; only "Mama take", "Run away" and "Reruns" really catch the eye (aswell as "Street Player", of course). Dacus never really fit in to the Chicago sound - "Must have been crazy" is a great rock tune, but somehow doesn''t fit into a Chicago LP, in my opinion.
This album is not a good example of the typical Chicago sound ... new or old. Ithas its moments, but for the most part I think they are far and few between.
