Comments for Chicago, Chicago XIV

"Manipulation" shows Bobby Lamm back to his best; there are some cracking songs on this LP. "Song for you" has got to be my favourite love song of all time, and "Birthday boy" is one of my favourite lyrics. It might not be a best seller of Chicago''s, but it''s arguably one of their best!

Although this is the first Chicago album of the eighties, I feel that it doesn`thave the same sound as the albums that would follow that decade. The songs thatare contained on this album are decent though ... the sound quality isn`t so hot, but the tempos are upbeat and vocals come through.
