Comments for Chicago, Chicago 18

Jason Scheff replaced Peter Cetera on vocals; not only does he sing well, he also shows with "Nothin''s gonna stop us now" that he can write a good song too. A few more classics here from the band - "Will you still love me" with Scheff on lead vocals is probably the best. The one disappointing track is the re-"work"-ing of the classic 25 or 6 to 4, originally on Chicago II, which sadly doesn''t "work"! Apart from that, another classic album by Chicago.
More good stuff from David Foster and that Chicago gang. Vocals between Champlin,Lamm, and Jason Scheff coupled with the horn line of Loughnane, Pankow, andParazaider give these songs that distinctive Chicago sound. A small a capella opening really catches your attention.
