The album also featured three of the Beach boys on background vocals on 'Wishing You Were Here'.

The fact that the Beach Boys and the Pointer Sisters took time off from their own busy schedules to help Chicago in the recording of this excellent album shows the respect the group had earned in the music world, whatever the rock critics of the time may tell us. Quite simply, they proved their capabilities of covering even more styles of music here. The instrumental tracks, especially "Mongonucleosis" (hope I''ve spelt that right!), show how well the band play together, and tell me how much I''d love to see them live in concert. If only they''d tour the UK!! There''s a great number of classics here, but Lee Loughnane''s "Call on me" is probably the best, with "Mongo..." and "Happy man" close behind. "Skinny boy" is great, but I''d love to track down Robert Lamm''s solo album of the same name. Anyone know how to get hold of it?
Another double album set. Most of the tunes on the first hada definite (`70s) jazz/jazz fusion flavor. The second containedmore rock-oriented tunes. The Pointer Sisters sang backgroundvocals on `Skinny Boy.`
