Comments for Clapton, Eric, 24 Nights

E-MAIL: desosa@globalnet.es
I think is the best E.C. album ever! I have the video and is a source of inspiration for every musician and every guitar player. The last part (with the orchestra) is not of my taste but is a change from the standard. All in all, a good example of what slowhand can make with a guitar. The best song for me is "have you ever love a woman". Thanks. Juan Manuel (Madrid-Spain)

24 Nights is a two-CD album and is worth buying for Clapton''s recording of "Have You Ever Loved A Woman?" alone. In order to appreciate it, you ought to turn it up to a good level. This is some of the best guitar playing that anyone will ever hear, and will convince you that Clapton ought to start playing jazz. Also, the pianist is great. Clapton ought to play with him all the time. Some of the other songs are good -- the ones with the small blues band are best. His voice is pretty good on this album, too.
A compilation of live songs from his Royal Albert Hall concerts (in 1990-91?). Tracks 1-4 are a four-piece band; 5-8 a blues band; 9-12 a nine-piece band; and 13-15 feature an orchestra.
