Terrific Album, although most of D1 is from London Calling (at least 4 tracks, from memory....) Anyway, the over side is fantastic, especially with Safe European Home!!!!!!! If any of the clashs songs comes close to heavy metal thats the one!

SURELY THIS HAS GOT TO BE THE FINEST (BEST OF / STORY OF etc.) ALBUM OF ALL TIME, ONLY PROBLEM IS IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN A TRIPLE C.D INSTEAD OF A DOUBLE. TOO MANY TOP TUNES LEFT OUT ESPECIALLY FROM LONDON CALLING L.P BUT THE STANDARD OF WHAT IS IN THIS ALBUM MAKES UP FOR ANY SHORTAGE OF TUNES NOT ADDED. A MUST FOR CLASH FANS AND FIRST TIMERS ALIKE!

This set covers the Clash from their self-titled debut up through Combat Rock, avoiding their Cut The Crap finale. It gets all the necessary goods on two records or compact discs. There is a three CD boxed set, entitled The Clash On Broadway, but Story is more than enough Clash that most avid fans of the cutting-edge band will want.
