Comments for Clash, The, Story Of The Clash, Volume 1E-MAIL: none@nowhere.co.uk Terrific Album, although most of D1 is from London Calling (at least 4 tracks, from memory....) Anyway, the over side is fantastic, especially with Safe European Home!!!!!!! If any of the clashs songs comes close to heavy metal thats the one!E-MAIL: andrewklowe@hotmail.com SURELY THIS HAS GOT TO BE THE FINEST (BEST OF / STORY OF etc.) ALBUM OF ALL TIME, ONLY PROBLEM IS IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN A TRIPLE C.D INSTEAD OF A DOUBLE. TOO MANY TOP TUNES LEFT OUT ESPECIALLY FROM LONDON CALLING L.P BUT THE STANDARD OF WHAT IS IN THIS ALBUM MAKES UP FOR ANY SHORTAGE OF TUNES NOT ADDED. A MUST FOR CLASH FANS AND FIRST TIMERS ALIKE! This set covers the Clash from their self-titled debut up through Combat Rock, avoiding their Cut The Crap finale. It gets all the necessary goods on two records or compact discs. There is a three CD boxed set, entitled The Clash On Broadway, but Story is more than enough Clash that most avid fans of the cutting-edge band will want.Comments supplied by users do not necessarily reflect the opinions of Roadkill Consulting, Inc. |
