Comments for N-Joi, Inside Out

A curious collection from original ravers N-Joi. Mainly forgettable mid-90s electronica, but "Bad Things" and "Never Let U Go" both rise above the melee with soulful vocal samples, and "A Mother World" is an enjoyable new-age-meets-club curio. Overall, a rather lacklustre album, but kudos to them for including their superb 1991 rave classic "Anthem", even though it does seem tacked on as an afterthought at the end.
