Comments for Grid, Electric Head

Their debut album, and from the start they are experts at skirting the edges of commercial pop without losing their club credibility. Pop fans will adore "A Beat Called Love" (the version included here is superior to the one released as a single) and Pet Shop Boys-like "This Must Be Heaven", ambient lovers will get off on the last four tracks, and intelligent clubbers will enjoy the driving groove of "Intergalactica" (an early single, now almost impossible to find anywhere except on this album). Definitely worth investigation.
