WHITE SOULS IN BLACK SUITS was the first commerciallyavailable album by Clock DVA. Originally released in 1980on Industrial Records, this album help define the avante guarde/industrial/experimental/dirge genre of the 1980`s. Unlike theirpost 1988 material, this album mainly focuses on guitar, hornsand specially treated instruments. There is some synthesizer,but it is not used as the album`s foundation. Though culled from 15 hours of improvisations, WSIBS contains some strongmaterial and ,surprisingly, sounds very `together` for the mostpart. I really like this album (it`s the first album I ever heard bythem), but some of you may not. ---Very Good.
