Comments for Masters of Reality, Flak 'n' Flight

I was at one of the gigs that this album was recorded at - BEFORE I had any M.O.R. CDs! I regret not getting into them better, until I listen to this or any other of their albums, and then I regret absolutely nothing :) Josh and Nick are as good as they need to be on this record. Mark Lanegan was headlining the show I was at (London), and something like HALF the crowd left after Masters finished their set! Poor Mark, but the gig had definitely reached it's peak, I just hope some of those trendy people who were there for the QOTSA crew actually went and bought some Masters albums, or they need to be robbed of all their cash and have it spent on Masters albums to be donated to cash-starved music-lovers everywhere. I think they are playing again this year 2004, and I'm going to buy extra tickets and donate them to a passer-by outside the venue or something. Gotta be the gig of the year if the new material ain't shit - (it's mellow). Force them to upgrade to a larger venue any chance you get!
