Comments for BAKU, Tracks

There were two versions of this CD produced and distributed. One was a privately produced CD-R which was distributed to several Southern Ontario college radio stations and to the CBC. The second version was available from MP3.com. The second version does not contain the track "Auto Tracking" which was removed due to space limitations of MP3.com's DAM format. We record nearly every time we get together. The music on Tracks represents some of the best pieces recorded between the spring of 1996 and the winter of 1997. During this period almost everything was record direct to 2 tracks on cassette. There are no overdubs. Everything was played live to tape. All music composed and performed by Baku (Owen Curnoe, Mark Favro, and Warren Pratten). Recorded at The BOF Shelter, London, Ontario, Canada
