A GREAT ALBUM FROM A STAR OF THE 60'S. KNOWN AS THE BIG MAN WITH A BIG VOICE, THIS ALBUM CONFIRMS IT ALL. A MUST FOR REAL SOUL FANS

"Soul blast" is indeed a welcome return from one of the greatest of the UK R&B singers of the 60's & 70's, however there is as much country and rock 'n' roll flavoured material on this album as there is soul. The album was obviously recorded within a tight budget, but nonetheless Bennett's calibre shines through and one appreciates he's been silent for far too long. More please!
