"Couger" should be spelled Cougar

I do not know why "John Cougar" changed his name to "John Mellencamp" (The "Cougar" disappeared).

ANY ALBUM THAT INCLUDES THE LYRIC "I HEAD DOWNSTAIRS/YOU'RE FOOLING AROUND/WITH YOUR FATHER'S BROTHER AND YOUR MOTHER'S GOWN"(WEAKEST MOMENTS) IS A DEFINITE KEEPER.THE ARTIST FORMERLY KNOWN AS COUGAR KNOWS HOW TO EVOKE POWERFUL IMAGERY WITH HIS SONGS, AND THIS IS A BONAFIDE CLASSIC CD.

Yes, it SHOULD be Cougar. John Mellencamp is his real name. Someone in the past convinced him to use the Cougar because they said it would be better for his career.

The great, American rock album. A must have in everyone`s essential collection. The songs are snappy and will have you singing them in your head until you can`t take it anymore. Great album!
