Comments for 24-7 Spyz, Temporarily Disconnected

It is my understanding that the material on this CD is old material from when the original members were still together. They've just released a new CD with the same white drummer, minus a lead singer (Jimi does vocals).

Spyz fans: GET THIS CD! I know it's not the "Strength In Numbers" lineup, but you can tell they learned from that experience. While "S in N" was about having something to say, this CD is about having fun. It took a few spins to get used to, but I like this CD almost every bit as much as Strength In Numbers.

Spyz released a new album on a European label 4/96 are are touring there 5/96-6/96. It'll be out in the states soon and they'll be back on tour as a three-piece.

Im from Holland> When these guys come over, its a hell of a party. When Pete Fluid and Anthony Johnson left the band, i really felt it was apitty. But still, these guys are HOT. Best record -still- is Gumbo Millenium, but i think temporarily disconnected is second best. Dont Hesitate!! Buy it!!!!!

This is PURE Spyz...one of the best bands in the world... Best songs include "Outta Mind Outta Time" and "Why" If only the original lineup could stay together... Kevin Cassels

I''m sitting here listening to this CD now. I have "Gumbo", "Harder Than You", and "This is...". when I found "Temporarily Disconnected" it was totally by accident. "This is..." is a sad attempt to reach mainstream audiences. I dont know who the producer is on that album, but whoever they are... they suck. There was a full blend of the music when it was with the original lineup. The style was original, the feel was good, it had SOUL! I''ll listen to the new stuff, but I think that "Temporarily Disconnected" Has DA SHIT!!! and If you guys want to ever take heed and stop the decline of TRUE Black Rock, reform the band and bring back THA REAL!

Record is dymanite (if you like the SPYZ) They got rid of the white metal drummer and got back Anthony Johnson (who is dynamite) PS Nothing against white metal drummers, I`mone myself!
