Comments for Crosby, Stills, and Nash, After the Storm

E-MAIL: r.chabot@elsevier.co.uk
Nice way of celebrating your 25th year anniversary in popmusic. Crosby adds some really good songs to this album which he hadn't done for more than a decade. Stills however didn't use much of his creative talents, with "Panama" as a good example of something he has already done before, but better in the past (listen for instance to:Stephen Stills: Manassas - "Down the Road"). You can hear on the Lennons classic: "In my life" that the harmony has suffered from all the drugs and booz throught the years. But this album is still very much worth listening. Best song is the titletrack "After the storm".

This album is a return to glory by CSN and a must for any fan of CSN or of just good music. Best cuts are "Find a Dream" "It won"t go away" and "These empty days" After a very dismal "Live It Up", CSN is back in form and I believe they would have had some radio play were it not for David''s health and their inability to follow up on a successful Woodstock performance with a tour. GET IT! **** out of ***** stars.
