in my opinion this is DRN's best.rockin',funkin' great songs .should have been huge .too funky for rock radio too rock for top 40. could the US not deal with a multi racial band? how sad.

I was able to see DRN live back in 1988 about a month before there album hit the stores. They rocked the place! There were four stages up with bands playing them all and by the end of the night about 70% of the people there flocked over to DRN's stage to watch what everyone was yelling about. Dan Reed has more energy and endurance then any other singer out there. I don't think he ran out of breath the entire show. They played the kind of music that gets your body moving even if you don't know how to dance you just have to move with it. The reason I gave them only a 9 out of 10 rateing is because 90% or so of there music is love songs but other than that they kick butt! If you don't have one of their tapes you should find one fast!

Well I only managed to get slam recently being in Oz...even though it was available here years ago...I had to back order it through US and I am glad I did!....Love Rainbow child....brilliant song even though it is relatively simple.....This is definately an album that grows on you.
