Comments for Davis, Miles, Miles Smiles

I''m not that crazy about this one. To me, the "classic" 60''s quintet was overrated, and did a lot of pseudo-Spanish tinkling and jerking around which seems to me to have turned into a cliche very quickly. I much prefer when Miles started changing stuff up in the next few years.

This is essential Miles which hints at the move to Fusion with a combination of groove centric modal Jazz and Hard Bop.Orbits, Footprints and Freedom Jazz Dance are essential and challenging standards.
