Comments for Webster, Clay and Calhoun, Border Skirmish - 10th Anniversary Edition

arkatekcha@hotmail.com
Fri, March 3 - Billboard is reporting that Webster, Clay & Calhoun’s much-discussed, but rarely heard 1996 LP may be hitting stores this June. The trio, who came to prominence in the 1970's and is best known for their unique mix of pop hits and historically-themed originals, reconvened in a small New Hampshire studio normally used for local radio jingles for sessions on an album that was scrapped due to intra-band lawsuits. The LP was chiefly inspired by Britpop, the Sex Pistols’ reunion and the disputed lumber tax the US placed on Canada after the ratification of the NAFTA Treaty.
