Comments for Dokken, Shadowlife

An extremely dissapointing follow-up to the great post-reunion CD Dystfunctional. Jumpimg on the alternacrap bandwagan, Dokken leaves their great melodies and hooks behind on this feeble effort. The mix is also of extremely poor quality George Lynch is left behind in most mixes in a muddy chunky sound. On a brighter notes Jeff Pilson get to showcase his talents and does vocals on a tune. All in all look for this one in the cut-out bins and pawn shops. Let''s hope that this in anomaly is Dokkens great rockin'' history.

This may not be Dokkens best effort although it does have some pretty good songs. "Until I Know" and "Puppet on a string" are both kinda catchy and a few others arent too bad either. So what can ya say, you can either take it or leave it. It definetely dosent shine like previous efforts
