Comments for Dream Theater, A Change Of Seasons

Dream Theater showed us again, that they are one of the best rock bands in the world. I like the cd very much. There is nothing more to say.

A Change of Seasons has got to be one of the most incredible tracks ever recorded. I do, however, hope that songs of this scope (length) become the exception and not the rule. The rest of the disc is excellent as well, and stays very true to the original artist's recording while still reminding you that this IS Dream Theater, after all.

I like the CD a lot but the last one, the medley was not needed in that I personally don't like it when songs I know get hashed into other songs. I would of have preffered they released the full songs individually

This is a.......strange CD...if anything. It definitely rocks and there are so many different moods in the title track that you have to love it. The Big Medley kicks ass, too.

Personally, I don't think this album compares to the previous two. It is unfortunate, because dream Theater is one of my favorite bands. The live tracks are amazing, though. Its interresting to hear their take on the old standards.

A Change of Seasons is my personal favorite DT song. Great. Starts very melodic and slow, breaks out into a heavy jam, gets progressive, gets wonderful, gets exceptional. Yes, this song has it all! Buy this CD!

for thost who didn't write in english, let's face it. if you liked this album, say it in english so that many other people can understand how the fuck you liked it. if you wanna say bad things about it and you say it in some other fucking language, you're total chicken shit. so fuck off!!! and you don't fucking belong here and you guys are not fucking welcome. and definitely, you don't deserve to listen to any fucking dream theater song. so fuck off!!! now, as for this album, i'll just say this: if you didn't like it, if you thought it sucked, you're a fag. if you're not, you can't dislike it. let's be honest. unless you're into some fucked up bands like smashing pumpkins, or some bloody whore like alanis whatever, how could you not like this album? and i think it's just totally pathetic that the rating is only 8 something when this album deserve 10 so bad... those who didn't give this album 10, you guys are fags, too... dream theater are gods!!!

I just bought this album, it`s my first DT album. Man, does it kicks ASS!!! The title song is so cool and changes tempo and style every two minutes! And those great medleys - they sure pull it off! go and buy this CD, i sure am going to put some interest in other albums of DT!!

'A change of seasons' is one of my favorite songs. You don't care about its length (23 minutes) because it remains short. The live part of the album is great, and look out with what I'm gonna say, the 'Perfect Strangers' cover, is a million times better than the original by Deep Purple. By the way, fuck the fascist who wants everybody to write in English. I'm spanish and I do know English, but if someone doesn't and wants to give his/her opinion, let's let him do it in any language s/he wants, ok? The net is supposed to be the alternative free world to the shit we all live in, isn't it?

A Great Album...

I agree with the spanish dude. DT fans are from ALL nationalities, let them write in what they know. It should encourage you to pick up a book. I think it is great the WORLD loves DT as much as I do. As for this album, I hope some of the original artists weren''t embarrassed by their great renditions!

I've been into DT for about a year now. They are truly amazing. This was the third DT album I bought and the band never ceases to amaze me. Unlike most, I praise this song for its length. The first time I listened to the title track, I thought it was almost too short! It takes you through a full cycle of moods. Petrucci is soo good at guitar
