Duran Duran at its peak. The Reflex and New Moon on Monday speak for themselves, but Cracks in the Pavement is a personal fave. A must for the Duran Duran fan.

This time out, a new production team changes the sound of the band and the results meet with mixed reviews. The lyrics are very creative, the sound -a little to brittle and lite. Overall a 7. Best songs include "the Reflex" and "New Moon On Monday". - richard caldwell

This was the first (and come to think of it.. only!) 12" record I ever owned!!! Duran Duran was my absolute favorite band back when I was 6. :) Now they are kind of like my own personal "oldies"

1983/84 was an extremely prolific period for duran duran as exemplified by this record. captivating melody an more challenging lyrics. "new moon on monday" seems to be many a fan''s personal favorite. a shock that this track doesn''t appear on the "decade" compilation.
One of Duran Duran`s best albums. Tiger Tiger and theSeventh Stranger are the best tracks (in my opinion).Intense lyrics on Of Crimes and Passion.

Remember when I said that Rio was the second best album ever made by the group. Well, this one wins first place. The Reflex is Raw, dude. Cracks in the pavement, I take the dice, and Tiger Tiger are the BEST!BEST!BEST!BEs....I'm an old man. I'v lost my enthusiasm.

Seven and the ragged tiger is the reason that I am a Duran Duran fan today. Two thumbs way up. To hear Simon Lebon bellow out the smooth lyrics to Crime of Passion still sends shivers down my spine.
