Comments for Eagles, The, Desperado

this is an excellent album and I believe one of their best ones they ever created next to hotel california!

SATURDAY NIGHT IS ONE OF THE BEST SONGS EVER. I ACTUALLY PREFER IT TO DESPERADO OR PRETTY MUCH ANY OTHER EAGLES SONG.

The best Eagles album. Listen to Certain kind of fool, as it trails into the instrumental then into outlaw man. Turn it up loud. It's one of the best song sets I've heard.

The "Old West" theme fits these guys perfectly, and I agree that these songs are some the Eagles' best ever. "Outlaw Man" is simply incredible--but who besides me noticed that parts of it closely resemble a certain REO Speedwagon song?

I liked this album when it first came out (I was in junior high school at the time.) I still think "Desperado" is a very pretty song. What makes this album stand out: At the time when this was released I think the idea of a "concept album" was pretty new & novel. At least it was my first introduction to it.

Old west theme permeates Eagles 2nd album. Some great tracks,including Tequila Sunrise, Outlaw Man, and Desperado.
