Comments for Echolyn, Suffocating The Bloom

cd is out of print but i had the fortune of seeing them live twice + i have several boots. great progressive band from the philadelphia area. paul ramsey is a superb drummer and brett kull is a speed demon on guitar. most of the credit for echolyn''s sound goes to the keyboardist, chris busby. the keys roll and swat with abandon. this album is marked by "everyman" suite. the last chorus is fantastic with great guitar and lyrics that will make every proghead weepy. they got signed by sony who then in turn buried them and the band fell apart.
