Comments for Echolyn, as the world

This is one of my 10 favorite CD''s released in the 90''s. For those of you not familiar with Echolyn, they sound like a modern version of the great 70''s prog bands like Yes, Genesis, Gentle Giant & King Crimson. "As the World" is their 3rd full length album (They also released an EP called "...And Every Blossom" which followed their 2nd album, "Suffocating the Bloom"). After breaking up a few years ago, they released a CD of demo versions of new songs and live versions of old songs. This dics is called "When the Sweet Turns Sour". They are also featured on the first "Prog Day" CD compilation. After the break up of Echolyn, 3/5 of of the band formed the group Still and released the album "Always Almost". They then changed the name to Always Almost and just put out a CD called "God Pounds His Nails".
Uncle Albert
Definitely overrated. Very difficult to listen to. They sound nothing like King Crimson, Yes, or Genesis.
