Comments for Eric Gales Band, Picture of a thousand faces

Great Hendrix/Vaughan style guitar. Great tone, and some cool Dorian mode licks (for those musicians out there). Lyrics are a bit lacking at times though, seeming like just a bunch of strung together cliches (not always). Definitely worth picking up if you dig good blues-rock.

This tape prompted my to pickup my guitar and begin playing again after 10 years. Eric Gales is truly a gifted and talented guitarist. The fact he also plays with the high e on top is down right scary. Albert King did also but Eric takes it to another dimension.
Second of by the Eric Gales power trio. This album feature more vocalsby Eric, guitar by Eugene (Gales) and a *scary* cover of the classic Beatlessong `I Want You`.

Talented guitarist, with a Hendrix flavor! The vocal part of the album is poor. I one man vocal or lyrics could do good for the band. The guitar solos makes this CD worth it. my rating guitar 9/10 album 7/10

...Highly reccomend this CD...Great Guitar, with Ex. Sondwriting!...Eric is a Post Hendrix Guitarist, but his playing is Original which is what alot of players lack...Check it out!...
