With its first four tracks solidly stacked back to back, this album is a MUST for any decent record collection. Blisteringly hot tracks like "Would I Lie To You?" and "I Love You Like A Ball And Chain" accompany the painfully bitter "Conditioned Soul" and the just plain silly "There Must Be An Angel...." The album cover is a still from the opening of the "Would I Lie To You?" video, used after the mask-oriented photo shoot for the cover ended in total dissatisfaction and a scene with photographer Peter Ashworth. For the recording of this album, they went for the feeling of immediacy of live performance, with Lennox singing in the booth up against a shaved-down microphone and music blasting into her headphones. =mw=
