i first heard Epic, and my reaction was, wow! what a song! i bought the tape, and fell in love with these guys. ive never heard a band use such a wide range os musical styles on one project before. Mike patton has such a versatile voice, and Mike Bordin's drums pound me through the wall. they can go from sounding like Smokey Robinson on Edge of the World to a kickass cover of War Pigs. I heard their version of War Pigs before i heard sabbath's version, and what amazed me was that they got the guitar licks note for note; absolutely identical! i think their version is a lot better than sabbath's any day!

Why Didn't They Play "Edge Of The World" In The Concert In Stockholm, The 22nd Of March 1995. It Was Simply The Best And I've Got A Hug From Mike Patton Himself.

Yeah! Man, these guys simply don''t know how to write a bad song. Every single one is absolutley GREAT!!
