I think you got the catalog number wrong. The number you listed is a Polygram distribution number. You may want to double-check. Thanks--Dave Katzman Carbondale, IL.

The song "Digging the grave" simply kicks some ass. More of that. Maybe better album than Angel Dust.
E-MAIL: machine@umd.umich.edu
I got the album roughly a week before release, and am supposed to review it for the WUMD College radio station I work at. But I made up some excuse so I could keep it longer then the day they needed me to bring it back. This is a great album, not saying it is better then Angel Dust or the Real Thing, but it is high, very high on the list. I highly recommend this album.

Digging In the Grave is definitely the greatest song they ever done.I Love It. And I Love Faith No More.

Reasonably well done album - Who needs Jim Martin? It's very mixed - Kinda like Angel dust with more Jizzlobbers and Rv's . Best tracks:- Get out Ricochet Gentle art of making enemies Cuckoo for caca Ugly in the morning Digging the grave What a day I believe they should have put "Absolute zero" and "I started a joke" on the album. After listening to the album for 3 weeks now, I'm starting to love it and the lyrics just spin in my head... "I should have killed it..." I should have killed it... I should have killed it before....Before...."

The catalog number is O.K. The name of the album is " KING FOR A DAY...FOOL FOR A LIFETIME " !!! Anyway, I just can't believe that those guys are still getting better. It's probably their greatest thing and I think that the next one will be even better. Could anybody send here some info about the single ? THANX

damn fine album. happy birthday - fucker. i love it.
E-MAIL: u943213@student.canberra.edu.au
Yes folks I agree, Tis truely fine. Here in Auz, when you buy the albumn you get a disk with B-sides as well. It has malpractice, Das Shutzenfest, The morning after, RV (Live), A small victory (remix) + the fantastic Absolute zero.

Just to make all you people in the US + Uk envious, have you all heard about alternative nation? In Australia there is going to be a concert that will make Lollopalooza look small. There are 30 bands playing including, FNM, Nine Inch Nails, Tool, Therapy, Primus, Body count, Def FX, etc.. The list is just incredible. I know I'll be there (sydney gig is on 15/4/95) and I'll no doubt get back to you telling you how absolutely amazing my favorite band in the enitre world FNM were. So If you're in Europe, it'll only cost you about 1000 pounds for an airline ticket and another 35 for concert ticket. See you there! Scott.

It has been a long three years wait, and I can say the albumn is just great, but FNM without Jim, it is great, but uhhh, uhhh Jim makes the band as well as the rest of them so pray that they all can make ammends and come back together!
E-MAIL: 16608@hhss.se
This album is probably the best one by FNM so far. The song "The Gentle Art of Making Enemies" is probably the best I have ever heard. I went to see FNM here in Stockholm and I can recommend everyone to go see them
E-MAIL: pwatson@trashcity.org
Yep I knew this album was going to be great and,, as usual FNM come up with the goods again. Saw them athe day the album came out and was blown away by their live set too. The title track does it for me.

This album, so far, has my vote for album of the year. It rock's from beginning to end. I can't wait to see them on may 9th at the Edge in Orlando.

Faith No More have definitely cemented themselves as one of the finest bands in the world with this album. Mike Patton is a genius. Ugly in the Morning is my pick for the best song and I can't wait to see them at Alternative Nation 1995 in Sydney on 15th April.

In response to Seth Avakian talking about "Trey's influence..." on King For A Day... : Trey had NO influence on this album whatsoever! Most of the guitar shit was written when Jim left the band. FNM just needed some one to PLAY it! Don't get me wrong, the KFAD album is undeniably an outstanding one, and they've been my favorite band for 6 years. I think that with Jim gone, FNM will be affected, but they'll pick up the slack. Just my $0.02. seeya. ---Sodomy the Clown
E-MAIL: Sodmeister@drexel.phlly.usa
In response to "david@...ao.uk", you said "Who needs Jim Martin?" and then said "[the album] is like Angel Dust with more Jizzlobbers...". Did you know that Jim wrote the guitar lines for Jizzlobber? So, in making your anti-Jim statements, you've contradicted yourself, saying (in essence) you love Jizzlobber (written by Jim) but you don't give a shit about the fact that he's gone! Get it straight!

Just a brief note to let you know that I just saw FNM play live at alternative nation in sydney, and yes, they went off like a bride's nighty. Mike was screaming, thrashing, doing back flips and fucking the speakers. It truely outshone all other performances of the day. They even played I started a joke, and an extended version of King for a day. As an encoure, they came out and played my favorite song, CAFINE which just topped off the night for me. Dean Menta rocks, he is great on stage, and does all the songs, new + old justice while adding his own cool variations. Only one small complaint. A lot of the fans were a bunch of dickheads. To all you wankers who stood there saying, "play warpigs, Patton ya poofta" all I can say is broaden your tiny minds. Primus were on the same stage as FNM and played just before them. They were also fantastic. Hope you all enjoyed it as much as me. Scott

The whole album kicks ass. I don't miss Jim...
E-MAIL: mc97@uno.cc.geneseo.edu
KFAD...FFAL is by far the best album ever made. I say see-ya to Big Jim Billy wrote most of the guitar even when Jim was in the band Gentle Art is the best song, but they should release Take this Bottle so they sell some records Evidence is the next single!

Fuckin' Great!!!!!!!!!

"King for a Day" is the best track on the whole thing. It's different from the other songs but it ROCKS
E-MAIL: 940946@fem.unicamp.br
This album is extrafuckincrazy!!!! I'm from Brazil, and waiting for fnm in the "monsters of rock".
E-MAIL: jep@physics.purdue.edu
Blows large chunks.
E-MAIL: dwwebb@acsu.buffalo.edu
Is blowing large chunks a good or bad thing? Anyway, this album may be even better than "Angel Dust". "The Gentle Art of Making Enemies" will make you angry even if you are the Pope. I love it and I'm glad they kick even more ass w/out Jim.
E-MAIL: calliope@iconz.co.nz
Thank you Faith No More for this AWESOME album! This album is by far one of their best.. In fact ALL of their albums rule!
E-MAIL: haenel@tripnet.se
WOOOOW!! Faith No More absolutley rule!!! The best album around!! Diggin the grave might be one of the greatest songs in the world!
E-MAIL: wayne@corona.laa.com.au
Jim Martin leavin FNM was the second best thing they could've done..the best thing was to release KFAD...FFAL. Trey plays damn well but the guy who played guitar on tour (Alternative Nation, April 95) left a bit to be desired. Don't get me wrong FNM kicked butt and were the highlight of an otherwise crappy concert. (NIN followed FNM and I went straight home...)
E-MAIL: Mike@is.my.idol.se
These guys must be the greatest musicians ever to walk on face of this planet. They simply donīt know how to write lousy music. I think this album is the best from FNM because it kicks more ass and yet still have some great slow songs. I think that they should releas Take this Bottle so they can sell more records. Thanks Faith No More for this brilliant album!!
E-MAIL: xybercon@dkmail.dkeep.com
Faith No More...the band keeps splitting up but Mike Patton has succeeded in keeping the general tone alive and well! Thanks for another ass-kicker! It's weird cuz i can't stand Mr Bungle
E-MAIL: henrikop@worldaccess.nl
Since a year and a day I love FNM. Unpredictable rock music with everything in it. I love "King for a day... Fool for a lifetime" because it's exactly the way it is with drugs Everyday I listen to it, and my favourite changes every time. This is really music !!!!
E-MAIL: ad056@freenet.hamilton.on.ca
HAted it when I first got it.. Totally dissapointed.. Ended up selling it for $6 a week later. 7 months later I heard it again at a friends house.. I bought it new2 days later for $22. -sigh- It was worth it though.
A very difficult album...Tracks are very different from another. But I think it`s their best album, because it`s very rich. You`ll have to listen to it a lot of time.
