The album is mostly in English, with a few numbers sung in Portugese (I believe Arto Lindsay is Brazilian). Very Soho-New-York-late-80s, but in a *good* way.

Arto Lindsay is an American raised for years in Brazil. The music contained here is skronky no wave meets samba and bossa nova. Guitar screeching and angular singing courtesy of Lindsay, synthesizer, keyboards and bass mainly by Peter Scherer with guest spots from Bill Frisell, John Zorn, Joey Baron, Vernon Reid and more. Funky, South American, noise grooves, like most of Lindsay''s projects. Scherer''s solo album also continues in this vein.
