The Ambitious Lovers? Aren't they the ones who accidentally killed themselves live on stage whilst trying to replicate one of the more spectacular positions in the "Kama Sutra"?

A softening of the attack of the out of print Envy and Greed albums, which some consider a blessing given Arto Lindsay''s guitar and vocal styles, but for me it loses something crucial. It''s still a solid, soundscap-y album with several wonderful songs (including a cover of Jorge Ben''s "Umbabarauma (Ponta De Lanca Africana)" that almost vies with the original) and never less than entertaining, but where the others kick ass, this one coasts. A good one, and easy to find used, but seek out the first two, or try Lindsay''s more recent albums on Bar/None.
More quirky funk and guitar noise. More introspective song-writing, a bit more sensitive. Can`t lose those pop hooks, though! Great production.
