Fear Factory is one of the most innovative and experimental bands to come out in a long time. Their music is very heavy and melodic and shows many different facets of each person in the band. They are a band to keep an eye on for a long time to come.

Who said this album is tecno-thrash is a lame. This is the album which created Industrial Death metal. A must for all deathers in the world

To call these guys "experimental" is a joke. The songs on this album were written on a Xerox machine. Lots of totally mindless aggression, which ends up being unintentionally hilarious. Clever songs like "Piss Christ" show these guys for the immature, uninformed, talentless, clueless fools they really are. And what's the deal with the guitarist? He's morbidly obese, and can't play for shit. Watching him live was like a heavy metal version of "Sweating to the Oldies."

Soul Of a New Machine is again another great album. Fear Factory is by far one of the hottest metal/death/industrial(damn labels) bands around. Dino Cazares' guitar on this album is very aggressive and the drumming is great as well. They could have worked on better lyrics for this one but it suits the style. If you're looking for pretty boy rock or some nice vocals dont buy this, if you are into death metal and you dont have this you are on crack.

The song Crash test is pretty good.A good album in perspective...

I thought this album kicked major ass, and anyone who disagrees with that should be mutilated!!!

This is a very heavy album. Much of the language may be offensive, but over all it is a good CDMetal is does not really describe the music, it`s more death with a bit of industrial mixed in.
