Comments for Ambrosia, Road Island

One of the great unknown recordings! When I first heard the album, I thought that maybe Yes had splintered and reformed under another name. Until I read the credits, of course. This is a favorite of mine, which I sadly cannot find on disc. Sometimes a group overachieves beyond thier former output, and "Road Island" seems to be such a scenario considering the other Ambrosia stuff I''ve heard. The track "Ice Age" is absolutely classic progressive rock, a must listen. Dan Willis
