This is a great album. There is also a music minus Maynard out there for all you lead trumper players. It's very good with some tracks that are even playable be mortal men. Check out Blue Birdland on MMM. It is my favorite.

This first I had heard of Maynard besides the theme to Rocky. Immediately turned on! By far one of the best big band bop albums one can own, if you can find it. This tour was a must see!

I have this album on cassette, but would be interested to know the personel, I can guess of course but one likes to be sure.This is another criticism of cassette tapes, they never give ypu the info you are looking for.
