Comments for Ferguson, Maynard, Maynard Ferguson

Maynard sounds fantastic on this album and the writing on the pop charts is done very well. "Bridge Over Troubled Water" is one of my All-Time MF favorites. Oh...and this too needs to be on CD!

Is "Maynard Ferguson" with some of the MF 2 on it available on CD????????

This album is fantastic. Great mix too - Maynard is well in front and the bands sound really gutsy. Hey Jude improves on the original...

"Maynard Ferguson" also known as "Alive and Well in London"

Is this song list correct??? I have "Alive & Well In London" (rec. as Columbia 31117), but this song list has stuff from that album & the MF Horn 1 & 2 albums.

Here is my input (I think it's correct)... I don't have this Album but if the track listing is correct, it is a compilation of "Maynard Ferguson" (a.k.a. "Alive and Well in London") and "M.F.Horn Two" (excluding "Give It One", "The Serpent", and "Your Song") "Maynard Ferguson" (Columbia #C31117) and "Alive & Well In London"(CBS London #64432) (which I don't have) were released the same year and have interchangable titles because the tracks are the same. Is this compilation on album and/or CD? what year was it released?

Whoever submitted this is pulling our collective legs. There were no CDs released in the 70s, dude.

I have this album but it doesn''t have the last few tracks listed above. Still, I have to say that it''s my most favorite MF album of his 70''s albums. Find it and buy it!!!!!!
This is a compelation CD of MF HORN & Maynard Ferguson

This is truly a tremendous collection. I remember listening to it 30 years ago when I was a High School trumpet player. This and MF Horn 2 are a couple of the best.
