Comments for Ferguson, Maynard, Primal Scream

An okay album. But a bit too Disco-i-ish for MF. "Swamp" is a good relaxer though.

I remember this one coming out, and I was a tad bit disappointed. Not a great MF album, but not a bad one either.

Come on I know that Primal Scream is a good song but dosen't Primal Scream mean to constantly scream out high notes in the upper staff not ever so offten. Maynard Ferguson should have scream out high notes during the bass guitar or ad lib something.

Hmmm..... Am I the only one out there that LOVED Primal Scream? In my opinion, it's the best album he ever did. Big production, intelligent tunes. And check out the monster tenor sax solo on the title tune by Mark Colby. C'mon you guys......

Yet another great Maynard production. The title track reallylives up to its name; very fiery and wild. Swamp by guitaristEric Gale is the essence of funk. A must-have record.

Hallo, Everyone ! I believe Maynard is superb in Primal Scream. The interpretation of "INVITATION" simply pampers the senses and makes you fall in love with life once again. Could anyone let me know where can I get this fenomenal record and I would appreciate it if the name of the composer of INVITATION IS ADDED. I shall give my Parents a record of that for their 50th anniversary ! (I'm in Canada in a remote place in an Island )
