Comments for Ferguson, Maynard, Maynard '62

This is one of Maynard''s strongest bands. All the soloists are excellent, and the ensamble work is outstanding. The album contains a nice balance of ballads and jazz standards. Maynard shows technique, tone, and taste in all his solos.

I purchased this album for the second track, Maria. Never was Maynard any better in his career and it caused me to want to play. Get this album if you can. It is GREAT!
