I only have a dub but am willing to make copies for fellow fans. Maynard plays beautifully on this album. Some of the arrangements sound a little hokey but overall this is an excellent album to have in your collection. With the Keith Mansfield Orchestra !The intro of "Born Free" is indescribable!! It willmake you sit right up and never let you leave yourattention, the whole LP trough! On this album Maynard plays the Made in England -"Liberator" trumpet of his own design! It has a wonderfulsound! After this instrument Maynard started to use the Holtontrumpets also designed by himself. He now (`96) playsthe wonderful Holton ST306 with a Monette "MF3" mouthpiece.tyson@verizonmail.com At least three tracks on kazaa. Live Twice, Impossible Dream and Hushabye Mtn are TERRIBLE! There is a reason nobody can find this LP. Must miss even for hard core fans. Stick to the awesome Roulette catalogue.mf_liberator@hotmail.com Go to www.jitteryjim.com, e-mail him, he might be able to help you. Evey once in a while he will put an MF album for downloading. Thanks Mike Carr jackvandermeiren@skynet.be I have a copy , new, never played. cover in excellent condition. it's for sale, if the price is ok. This lp is hard to find, last sale on line = 540 dollar. bud not in this condition. No scratch at all...Mail me for more info.rbdeli@gmail.com So many musicians and fans have probably never known Maynard once played with such a sweet, beautiful tone. His sound is at its very best on this album. Maynard actually plays quite gracefully, yet still hits the high notes with unprecedented power and drama.Comments supplied by users do not necessarily reflect the opinions of Roadkill Consulting, Inc. |
