Comments for Ferguson, Maynard, Straightaway Jazz Themes

This was the theme and backround music for a TV show called "Straightaway" which lasted all of one season. Great writing by Don Sebesky and Willie Maiden and great soloists including Willie, Lanny Morgan, Frank Hittner and Maynard. Also some fine doubling by the reeds especially by Hittner who also was a great Dixieland clarinetist.
