This 5 CD set contains the highlights of those four days. The above listed songs are theones that Maynard performs on. The interview on disc 5 is of Shorty Rogers and Buddy Childers, trumpet players who werewith Kenton. They talk about Maynard and the song "MaynardFerguson" that Shorty Rogers wrote as a feature for him. This interview is found on the right channel at about the 42 minutespot. Disc 5 contains only interviews with the Kenton alumniand is divided into the left and right channels so as to containmore interviews. This set is excellent for Kenton fans. Maynardfans will enjoy the tracks above. Maynard plays very well onthis set.
