A very good album, a Nine Inch Nails crossed with an acoustic style album. Any fane of NIN will love this album!! Or at least everyone I know Does. I gave it a ***** star rating.

If Filter sounds a bit like NIN, then you're right. Both members of Filter use to play as NIN's support band until striking out on their own. The audible chaos that ensues w/ their debut CD is a positive sign of potential. They've just released a new single for the Crow: City of Angels soundtrack which has been aired as a BUZZ CLIP on MTV (8/86). This CD is a definite purchase.

Filter is some of the angriest most depressing industrial music put out in the nineties, i would recommend it to all NIN fans. Trent supports filter, and advocates their music. The remix of hey man nice shot is very rare, but it is a superb remix, their are 4 of them. Find it, and you'll love it.

Shortbus is one of those rare recordings that combines instantly accessible hooks but also contains enough ambience to keep the listener satiated. Every time I hear this record I find some new noise that I hadn''t heard before---(especially the feedback). Brian Liesegang(half of the "band") has left but Rich Patrick is going strong. I can''t wait to hear the new stuff... P.S. If anyone has a copy of the "dose" import single I''ll pay you for a copy!!!
More heavy guitar/drums versus the keyboards of NIN.Song writing a little weak, but it does transcend angerwell. I think there are two acoustic tracks on the CD.BTW, the band`s e-mail address is shortbus@aol.com.Comes in card board sheath, but still has a CD jewel box. (2.5/4)
