Comments for Flesh, Flesh

Flesh is a great band to see live, right now they are playing smaller venues and have little if no theatrical support, so the high energy is do to pure showmanship of the four members. If you hear of them playing in your area - they are not to be missed.

THIS ALBUM HAS SO MUCH ENERGY. IF YOU EVER HAVE A CHANCE TO SEE FLESH LIVE DO IT , THEY ARE GREAT. PAULO''S VOICE IS AMAZING. THIS CD MAY BE HARD TO FIND , BUT TAKE THE TIME YOU WONT REGRET IT.
This is the first album by a band that should have been platinum along time ago. Flesh hails from the Boston area, and have playedlocally there for years. The spent a year or so in L.A. looking for a deal and have finally put out a record on Nuno Bettencourt`s Colorblind records. Like Nuno`s Band Extreme they play a slinky brand of both hard and soft rock with a splash of groove and class. If anything they`re better than Extreme in that they tend to let the songs speak more than the musicianship (which is itself rather frightening). The band includes Paulo Bettencourt (the singer -yeah, yeah, he`s one of the `N` mans older brothers), Stephen Powell (left-handed bassist extra-ordinaire), Markus (nee `Cherone`, Guitar.Younger brother to that other Cherone dude I`ve heard about) and new drummer Gonga who replaced Michael Katz during recording. This record is really a pain to find because of the indie natureof Colorblind, but it`s more than worth the effort. If you like real Rock and Roll, played with passion, spirit and humor you`ll like thisalbum. Guaranteed.
